This drawing of an unidentified young woman is either the work of Thomas Forster or of Forster's presumed son, Charles Forster, from whom work survives with dates between 1709 and 1717.

Charles Forster worked in plumbago in a style very close to Thomas Forster. Several of his portrait drawings are copies from oil paintings.
